Terms of Service

Maktek Photo AI generates images of you from a photo you upload, using AI models. Results vary and we do not guarantee that any particular generation will meet your expectations. We may add, change or remove features over time.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. Keep your password private and tell us if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payments, billing questions and refunds.

Generating a photo uses credits. Free credits are granted once. Paid plans add credits each time they are billed (a yearly plan adds twelve months of credits at once) and renew automatically until cancelled. Unused credits stay in your account.

If a generation fails, the credit is returned to your balance. Refunds for purchases are covered by our Refund Policy at maktek.co/refunds.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of other people without their consent.
• Upload photos of minors.
• Use generated images to impersonate someone, deceive, harass or defraud.
• Create content that is illegal, sexually explicit or hateful.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the service.

You keep the rights to the photo you upload. You own the images generated for you and may use them for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the acceptable use rules above. You grant us the limited right to store and process your photos in order to provide the service.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. On termination your photos and generated images are deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Maktek is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
